When leaving was the only
option because home was
harbouring bones.

A time when the tiger’s roar was
silenced by the violence of the
circle of life.

But what goes around
comes around.

From boom to bust to boom,
from old to young and new.
While the vultures swept in
a new culture crept in.

A poet’s revolution marked by
march from snug to streets.

A poet’s revolution
marked by march from
snug to streets.

It’s words and beats spun,
spoken, delicately woven
into a tapestry of lights,
of shades, of dreams.

It’s words and beats spun, spoken,
delicately woven into a tapestry
of lights, of shades, of dreams.

Home to hope, home to vote, home to change.
To real change and spare change.

HOME SWEET HOME.

From Rio to Rialto,
Trinidad to Trinity,
this fair city represents
more than a couple of cold
ones with the boys or girls.

A rising tide of talent just
beginning to flood the world.
A future so bright that the
rays raise questions.

A rising tide of talent just
beginning to flood the world.
A future so bright that the
rays raise questions.

The answer is us,
the people, the hearts, the souls who make it home.

DUBLIN’S OWN

TO BELONG HERE..

D.W.D. is proud to be an independent label and bottler. Our original home still stands on the banks of the River Tolka but will never return to distilling following modern redevelopment. In time, we will build a new distillery not far from our spiritual home on the northside of Dublin city. The first release under the D.W.D. name in over 70 years took 3 years to develop. This process has involved the assessment of 117 blends by a panel of master distillers resulting in an Irish whiskey worthy of the D.W.D. name and the legacy of our original founder and master blender John Brannick.
